Omni-Stance
How it works

How Omni-Stance works for funding partners

Omni-Stance gives invoice factors, asset-based lenders, receivables finance platforms, and supply chain finance providers one place to review documented B2B receivables: the invoice, the UCC filings that reference it, the notices sent to the account debtor, and the account debtor's own responses.

  1. 01

    Filers record their invoices

Businesses with B2B receivables (filers) record each invoice in Omni-Stance: the invoice number, the account debtor, the basis of the receivable, the face amount, the issue and due dates, and supporting documents such as the invoice, the underlying agreement, and delivery records.

Face amounts are shown as invoiced. Omni-Stance doesn't adjudicate, verify, or guarantee them.

  2. 02

UCC filings are linked to the invoices they cover

Where a filer has a financing statement on file, the record links to it with the filing office, file number, filing and lapse dates, and a link to run your own lien search at the filing office. Filing details come from public filing-office data.

  3. 03

Account debtors receive notice and respond

The filer sends the account debtor a notice that carries the invoice number. The recipient looks the record up on Omni-Stance and can acknowledge it, dispute it, or ask for more information.

Each response is recorded with the responder's typed name and capacity, the date, and a confirmation number, and the record shows when the first and last notices were sent.

  4. 04

Every change is kept in an append-only history

Nothing in a record's history is edited or deleted. Corrections are added as new entries, so you see what changed and when, alongside each account debtor response.

  5. 05

Filers choose what funding partners can see

A filer decides which of its records are visible to approved funding partners. Records it hasn't shared stay private.

  6. 06

You review records and contact filers directly

Approved partners browse visible records, bookmark them, open documents, and send the filer a request for information or an appointment. You can also message the filer about a record.

Your firm stays anonymous to the filer, who sees an alias, until the filer confirms an appointment with you. Any funding arrangement is made directly between your firm and the filer; Omni-Stance isn't a party to it.
